Should + Infinitivo sin “to”

  • You should study. – Deberías estudiar.
  • You shouldn’t study. – No deberías estudiar.

Ought to + Infinitivo sin “to”

  • You ought to study. – Debes de estudiar.
  • You ought not (to) study. – No debes de estudiar.

El Segundo Condicional

Past Simple, would + infinitivo sin “to”

  • If I were you, I would study. – Si yo fuera tú, estudiaría.
  • If I were you, I wouldn’t study. – Si yo fuera tú, no estudiaría.
  • If I were in your shoes, I would study. – Si estuviera en tu lugar, estudiaría.
  • If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t study. – Si estuviera en tu lugar, no estudiaría.
  • If I were in your position, I would study. – Si estuviera en tu lugar, estudiaría.
